Port Operations & EU Discharge
Authorised consignor at five UK ports, with discharge tracked into the EU.
Filing the declaration is only half the job. The truck still has to start a movement at an office of departure (or an authorised consignor site) and arrive at an office of destination on the other side, where the TAD is presented and the movement closed.
We act as authorised consignor at Dover, Folkestone, Sevington (Ashford), Harwich and Hull, which means movements can start without a physical HMRC office visit. On the EU side, we maintain working relationships with customs agents at major offices of destination — Calais, Coquelles, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Lisbon — so we know who to call if a TAD doesn't discharge cleanly.
How It Works
- 1Movement raised at our authorised consignor location
- 2Driver carries the TAD and MRN through the port
- 3Office of destination receives the goods and lodges IE018
- 4Movement closed, guarantee discharged, file archived
